Persimmon Smoothie


2 Overripe Persimmons

1 C Vanilla Yogurt (low-fat)

1/2 orange (squeeze for its juice)

1/2 C Ice Cubes


Instructions:

-Cut each persimmon into quarters and squeeze out the center (removing the pits) by holding onto the persimmon and squeezing gently.

-Combine all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth and creamy. Serve cold.


Yield: 3 servings
